Hi all
Here is my performance for the Galuppi sonata in C Major, first movement.
Will be glad to hear what you think.
Thanks!

i am still listening to this beautiful piece! you do such a nice job of presenting a 'restrained'/dignified character to this! really there is a delicacy to your playing, but the sound is still substantial, such a difficult thing to do, most people (myself included) start to get a little 'surfacy' in sound when trying to get this across, you however project so cleanly, even in the softest passages. and your phrases are very well defined!
thanks for sharing this , i'd neve heard it

Very pretty! I'm not familiar with the piece, but you played it very well. Based on your phrasing and your nice light touch, I could have mistaken this for a professional recording. Nice work.
At about 4:25, you have a trill that doesn't seem to fit. Most of your other trills and ornaments are great, but this one feels forced and very heavy. Try to bring it down a bit. A couple of the trills elsewhere in the piece could use to drop down a little in volume too, but the one at 4:25 is the only one I thought stuck out as wayyy too loud.

Thank you so much! Enrique and David.
There is a famous recording of Michelangelli for this sonata which is really great. Search on you tube "Michelangelli Galuppi" and you get it.
David, I am sure you are right but I actually like this trill:) It reminds me a cat with water on the fur spraying it all directions.
Thanks for listening and for your nice comments!

Hi Ariel,
I really enjoyed hearing this Galuppi sonata. In your playing you give it a purity of sound. Very nice playing! It's also good to hear music of a lesser known Viennese Classical composer--not that Haydn or Mozart wear thin, but just to hear another voice, this one from the Italian tradition of the era. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you David for your kind words!
And I think we all should thank Michelangelli for getting this piece known as well as perfect performance.
