FTCL?! Experienced piano guyzz please come :D
on: August 18, 2012, 02:50:52 PM
Hi guys, I'm a piano noob from nowhere who's interested in knowing more about diploma exams.
After reading considerable amounts of posts and websites,
I'm still curious about the FTCL diploma exam.
Some people say it's super duper hard,
While some others say it's easy peasy.
Is it really THAT hard?
Or is it really THAT easy?
Care to explain?
What is the pass rate?
Or are their any other data that can show the difference of the FTCL's difficulty from other examinations?
Thanks guys, love you all!!

A very high standard of performance is expected. The repertoire is of course, very advanced. IF you find, for example playing Ravels' Gaspard easy -then the FTCL is easy.
