You know, its for nothing that many people prefer Steinways. I don't often ask people "what piano was that?". In recent posts, I've asked (or wanted to ask) two people about their pianos after having listened to their posted recordings. Both pianos turned out to be Steinways.

Now of course that doesn't take anything away from the fine playing that I could hear in the recording! You'd sound very good even on a beaten up old spinet piano.

Ha,wouldn't sound to good on a beat up piano I don't think.  :o

Thanks David. This is from my new Cd album that I named :"Voices of the Woods." It is all programatic music related to the "woods" theme and divided into four parts: Schumann's  "Waldszenen," a set of lyric pieces by Grieg, the "Woodland Sketches" by MacDowell and finally a set of pieces by Debussy.
