Mazeppa - measure 55 fingering
on: September 02, 2012, 02:29:34 PM
Hello,

I would be extremely grateful for any help with the fingering for the chromatic sequence in measure 55 of Liszt's Mazeppa:

What fingering do you use for the right hand, and what for the left hand?

Many thanks! :)

Right Hand -
53, 2,1
52, 2,1
51, 2,1
52

Left hand
15, 2,1,
25, 2,1,
15, 2,3
15

I can play this slowly, and have never managed to hold it together.

Perfection itself is imperfection.
