Crossing hands or "cheating" ?

Hello, i'm currently learning to play Scriabin prelude op.22 no 1.
At one point, the left hand arpeggios cross the right hand melody so I don't know if I should play the note with the LH or RH. For this particular piece, I don't think it matters but do you think that I should play it with the LH for educational value?
