Rhythm in Scherzo in d minor by Gurlitt
on: October 02, 2012, 04:46:29 PM
I am teaching the Scherzo in d minor by Gurlitt for the first time.  The time signature is 3/8 and the bars on the 16th notes lead me to believe it should have 3 beats per measure.  All the performances I can find on YouTube are played in 6/8.  I need advice from other teachers who have taught this piece.
