Rhythm in Scherzo in d minor by Gurlitt
on: October 02, 2012, 05:43:04 PM
I am teaching the Scherzo in d minor by Gurlitt for the first time. The 3/8 time signature is and the beams on the 16th notes lead me to think it should have 3 beats per measure. All the performances I can find on YouTube are in 6/8. If you have taught this piece, how did you teach it, and why.?
