ear training. how many hands do you hear?
on: October 07, 2012, 09:15:19 PM
ok, so i thought i'd have alittle fun with this, per my 'what are you listening to post", this set of pieces is at the very top of my 'hunting list' of scores to locate and purchase (it has been an extremely frustrating endeavor, i keep hearing about peopel that have it and are not selling or places that had a copy or were selling, etc. but never an actual copy!).

some pieces are solo and some are duet

i can hear it sometimes but this one im about 50/50. i dont 'need' to know this, just thought i 'd pose a fun question and hopefully others will eventually chime in with audio of other 'unfamiliar works' that could or could not be for solo/duet.

everytime i replay this and think i have it figured out, i hear something in the background (or lack of) that makes me rethink it.

thoughts?

what about this one (this one  i actually know the answer, no cheating and looking for live performances on youtube. that's no fun)

right on!

well, i didn't say it was hard per say. but i admit i was back and fourth on the first one. the second was way easier, i picked up on it right away.

hopefully someone will post some audio of some others.

but honestly thanks for clearing things up about the first one for me. i can sleep well tonight. 8)
