Need Help with selection of peices
on: October 09, 2012, 08:28:21 PM
I have completed Bach's Magdalena Peices, Canon in D and am in a slump.  I am looking for next peice. I would like something like Canon which is so lovely.  I have neurological problems due to severe head trauma and really have to work, which I don't mind.  Thanks

You could try the Bach 2 part Inventions or the Preludes from the 18 Little Preludes and Fugues, or if you want a stretsch, try the Pachelbel Fugues on the Magnificat.

On another tack, you could try some Rameau or Couperin. Rameau is probably generally easier, but both should have bits you could manage OK and are really nice works.
