Alistair's Allstars
on: October 24, 2012, 04:07:23 PM
Hey,

Does anyone else love Alistair's zany posts?  Let me post one of my favorites:

"Even the most extreme of pianistimo's rantings (for those that have been here long enough and have equally long memories of them) seem almost acceptable in comparison to this nonsense; for all their Creationist and other equally unscientific head-in-sand meanderings, the ultimate impression is that pianistimo was a decent and honourable person, if in certain respects also a deeply misguided and confused one; the upthread stuff here, on the other hand, is so replete with arrogance, absurdity and irrelevance as to make the reader wonder whether it's meant to be taken seriously at all, although I rather fear that the writer's intent is that it is taken seriously."

Funny without being condescending or douchey, which is why I think we need to start a club.

Best,
Alistair's Allstars

I find his unconditional love for everything that is Sorabji quite amusing. That's why I like him.
