Chopin: Ballade no 1, g-minor op. 23
on: November 03, 2012, 08:58:57 PM
Hi again. :)  Here´s my version of the g-minor ballade, that was recorded on the same evening as the 2nd ballade. Grand piano: Steinway & Sons.

I hope you like :)

jo_li - very nice interpretation! I specifically like the bel canto style and singing melodies. Excellent work! I have uploaded an interpretation of the same work by me. Let me know what you think! Anyone else please comment and let me know your thoughts, are all much appreciated. Thanks!

Piano: Yamaha U1 - 1974 (My Baby!), I used 2 Apex 180 Mics.

To my surprise I actually think the quality isn't at all that bad.

Really nice job, as mentioned above!
Beautiful controlled and clear melodies in the right hand.
I'd love to hear more from you!

Thank you very much! The great response gives me the courage to upload the 3rd and 4th ballade too. :)
