I just don't want to get myself stuck in a dump or something.
...Only about a half a year of this has been serious training ...
Woowwwww man i just realized what an egotistic loser i sounded like, next time ill proof read. Sorry. Basically what I meant was that I played those relatively well and not like some person who just tried for the heck of it and did poorly. And by serious training i meant that for many years I had just been schlepping myself, didn't really enjoy practicing and didn't practise much (maybe 30 mins aday). I included the part about my composing so that you guys would take me seriously and not think, "oh yeah he probably just writes like rap/rock chord progressions."I just wanted to know if from there, its too big of a jump, and maybe play something in between, or not.sorry for sounding like an ass and being unclear.
Thanks a ton! Also I was wondering where you would rank Scriabin's Etude opus 8 number 12. Is it between Un sospiro and TE10 or easier or something. I absolutely love the piece and was wondering if it could serve as a stepping stone. Thanks again.
serious training (2-3 hrs of practice a day)
