Kitten On The Keys
on: November 16, 2012, 09:38:15 PM
I'm playing Zex Confrey's Kitten on the keys, a ragtime piece on the piano.
What do you think about this?

I enjoyed it and you play it well, but I don't think the instrument does justice to either you or the piece. The term "novelty" doesn't really do justice to the large body of music by Confrey, Mayerl, Daly, Turner and their other contemporaries, and I think you are right to study and play it seriously.

Thank you very much ted! I agree with you, this kind a piece should be played on an old piano. =)
