You can choose your 3 favourite composers, for piano music. Sorry if I forgot any composer, I chose the best known. You can vote for "another" and indicate his name on forum. Sorry for my bad english too.
Hope you participate and enjoy it.

Everybody makes mistakes though, right?

...and we don't have to be rude and point them out when they do.

Why is Bartok not an option? I question the validity of this poll!

Not to mention countless other composers as well. Oh well, I went with Beethoven, Scriabin, and Debussy

Mozart is obvious, but the others are really unclear for me.
Anyways, ended up with brahms and rach. though both bach and schumann are very close

I will add some more composers but you have to understand that is impossible to choose ALL piano composers!

Because it's a "favourite" choice, not a "like choice" ( Of course, people generally appreciate more than 3 composers). It would be worse if it were only to choose 1 composer. I chose 3 because I think it's a good number. 5 or 6 it is a large number for a "favourite choice".

I have exactly the same problem!...

I voted for Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin, although it was a very difficult decision!

A difficult decision for me too, although I think 3 composers is plenty.

Had the question been, "If you could only play 3 composers for the rest of your life, who would you choose?", my answer most likely would have been Bach, Beethoven, and Scriabin, simply due to the depth, quantity, and quality of their works, although at this point in my life, I don't even enjoy Beethoven's sonatas all that much.

However, since the question was for favorite composers, I chose Liszt, Scriabin, and Rachmaninoff, simply because I enjoy listening to them the most. Rachmaninoff wouldn't have made the cut in the possible question I posed above because he didn't write all that much piano music, and much of what he did write was average at best. However, when on his A game, his music is the best. I also imagine I will grow tired of his and Liszt's "heart-on-the-sleeve" approach to music as I grow older, although I guess it's possible that doesn't happen. I really hope that doesn't happen
