Most annoying brainworm...
on: November 20, 2012, 05:08:24 AM
What's the most annoying brainworm you've ever had? You know, those 'catchy' little tunes that sometimes start playing in your head in varying degrees of relentlessness, and which may just as easily be something you love or something that might make you want to throw up or bang your head against the wall, if you're really unlucky :(

In my case, I don't get them too often, or rather, I do, but it's almost always stuff I like, so it's more of a boon than a curse  ;) but well, I guess one of the worst might have been that crappy pathetic imitation of a song from the Bull-sh*t peas, (sorry, the Black-eyed peas ^^) that says something about a good night or something like that.

Like I said, it might not be the worst, but it certainly ranks among the shittiest ones.

OH GEEZ. Now I'm going to be singing that in my head all day. That is THE most annoying song in the WORLD.

I always do my best to forget that "song" exists, but every once in a while it rears its ugly head :(

The reason why it's so catchy is because it's highly repetitive with no variation.  Unfortunately, what makes it so memorable is also what makes it so annoying because you know exactly what's next.

And that's the sad truth of it.  :(

Try frickin' Nikki Websters 'Strawberry kisses'

Imagine singing that when you're at your locker in Year 12, without even noticing you're doing it.
