free music notation software for a few more hours

I downloaded a copy, but I probably won't use it.  It's free though.


I don't know how safe it is, if it's just a demo copy, etc.  Use at your own risk.


There are some comments here as well as suggestions for other free notation programs.

I'd still learn toward Finale and Sibelius myself.

What about MuseScore? It seems pretty nice! (and, free and open source!)

I use Noteworthy.  Wish it ran under linux though.

Yes, MuseScore is pretty good, oh, and Noteflight is good too.

I liked Notepad when they gave that away for free.  Not fancy but "there" and easy enough to use.  I think I still have the install file somewhere....
