I have a problem

I do not have it written down yet, but I have "written" a sonata. I have only been playing for 16 months so I cant play it like i want it to be played, and some of the passages are just plane to difficult. And its not like i suck, i can play half of rachmaninoffs prelude in c# minor and bits and pieces of some other "difficult" stuff. What should i do? can anyone recommend a music notation software? that plays it back?

I definitely recommend notating. Do you have a teacher to help you? Do you sight read?
 I use noteflight.com it is free or you can upgrade. The best one if you have mac is Logic Pro. Next there is Sibelius and some other stuff. Work on finishing the prelude and the other works you were looking at. If you have questions, ask away.

LilyPond tends to take a text-based entry method.  It can be very powerful if you are good with a text editor.

If you feel you need a more robust feature set, Finale or Sibelius tend to be the two large players.  They are however a significant investment.  The do have very different philosophies about the design of their notation program.  IMO, choosing between either is more about which one suits your workflow better.  They are both excellent programs.
