Casual Concert Programme
on: October 17, 2004, 04:44:04 PM
Hi everyone, I'm planning an informal charity recital in which I will be programming all modern stuff. Target audience is completely non musical and I have tried to put up a programme which is very pleasant to listen to. I am not very familiar with the modern piano repertoire as I don't really listen to them a lot often, please do give suggestion on some pieces I can add or change in the programme, no Claydermann please.
The programme is as follows, with proper ordering:
Michael Nyman - Big My Secret
John Adams - China Gates
David Lanz - Madre De La Tierra
Jim Brickman - Angel Eyes
Suzanne Ciani - Princess
Suzanne Ciani - Etude
Eugene Rocharolle - Elegie
Eugene Rocharolle - Continental Waltz
Harold Arlen/ Dan Coates - Over the Rainbow
Intermission
Final Fantasy 6 Piano Collection - Tina
Final Fantasy X2 Piano Collection - 1000 Words
Final Fantasy 8 Piano Collection - Silence and Motion
Yukie Nishimura - Hidamari
Yukie Nishimura - Letters
Claude Debussy - Arabesque No 1
Fazil Say - Paganini Variations in Modern Jazz style
Encore - Chage&Aska/Yukie Nishimura - Say Yes
Encore - Final Fantasy 9 Piano Collection - Melody of Life
