Your take on this piece?!
on: November 29, 2012, 10:22:55 AM
Hi! I'm new here and this is my first post!

I just want to ask how difficult is this piece in terms of the piano grading system and from your own point of view?

Also, tell me pieces that have the same difficulty level

And......... tell me YOUR take on this piece. Is it beautiful and worth learning?

Thanks!  :)

I fail to see what possible use it is for you to know how difficult I would find it or whether I like it.

FWIW, though - pretty straightforward and not really.

Shouldn't be too difficult. Ending arpeggios might be moderately tricky, though, depending on left hand skill.

Of course, whether you want to learn it or not is entirely up to you. What do YOU think?

I don't really find this very beautiful. Extremely easy though. If you want to learn it then go ahead.  :)

It's ok....fun to sight-read. i find the texture on the 'thick' side. The left hand could cover the right hand in many sections. If the piece were voiced better it might sound more musical. Maybe in a different key? Go have fun with it. It will challange your voicing ability.

I'm really fond of the anime style of piano pieces though I'm already bored of this piece after one take. I also agree with the above comments; I don't think it's difficult to learn.
