Should I play Mozart Piano Sonata K.284(205b) 'Durnitz...?
on: December 06, 2012, 04:13:20 AM
I really enjoyed the 3rd moment: theme and variation, but my teacher said I would have to play the entire sonata if I want to play this piece in my recital. This piece is over 20 mins (depends on the repeats...) and I know it is definitely worth learning. BUT...I know most people don't enjoy listen to Mozart for that long. I am also playing may Russian pieces in my recital (Rach, Prokofiev and Scriabin)
I just don't know if I want to work on this piece or not?
...suggestion!!!? Thank you
