Here's an interesting situation

So you're walking down the street and you see a $100 dollar bill on the side walk.

Do you:

1) take it and keep it
2) take it and give it to someone in need
3) take it and immediately buy something
4) leave it

Leave it.  It's not yours

In all honesty I would take it and not tell anybody. Leaving it would allow some other loser to pick it up and buy drugs with it. I know I would do the right thing. If you ask someone If they lost it, They could easily lie and you end up giving them a hundred dollars that they never lost.  I would probably give it to the police or whatever. It just wouldn't feel right going out and buying more sheet music with it.

I saw $20 on the ground while going to school.  Picked it up, looked around, and pocketed it.  Free money.

Honestly, I would pick it up. But I would look around and see if anyone seemed to be looking for it. Also, if it was found right outside a store, would probably go in and ask if anyone reported losing anything.

Beyond that, I would use it to help someone in need, if the opportunity presented itself. $100 is not THAT much money. Of course, if I found a bag or wallet or something with several hundred or $1000 or something like that, I would turn in to the police. But for just a mere $100, naw, I'd pick it up, and use it to help someone else if possible.

I would take it and keep it.  Obviously someone didnt want it and left it on the street.  ;D

Well, if I lost a 100$ bill I wouldnt expect people to bring it back to me...but If they did, I would have to view them in such a new light- Benevolence is rare nowadays.
Im too greedy though, Ill take the money.

I'd look around to see if anyone dropped it.  Then, I'd take it.   Because if I don't someone else will.  I would donate it to my own private "I'm a teacher" fund.

I'd see if any more money was lying around too.  Maybe there are more upwind.

I'd also fix the hole in my pocket to prevent more of my numerous hundred dollar bills from getting lost.  It's so embarrassing when you can't tip somone with a few hundred dollar bills or not have to give change becase, "...all I have are hundreds."

i'd take it cos due to the fact that many people are not half decent and would end up taking it as well. like you're not going to find the person who lost it so i might as well. if it was in a wallet then i'd have a look to see who it belonged to and attempt to contact them or hand it in somewhere, i wouldn't take the money out of it then.

I remeber seeing a comedy show one time where some pranksters super glued a twoonie ($2 Canadian Coin) to the floor and video taped people trying to pry the bloody thing off.  It was so funny because a crowd gathered around just for $2 stinking dollars!  Funny Canuking Canadians.   ;D

They eventually did get it though.  ???
