Just gave a recital including the WHOLE Alkan Sonata... Here's a part of it... the first movement:
I'll post the other movements soon...

As an admirer of this under-appreciated composer I must say this in one piece fine piano playing which I enjoyed much listening to. THANKS for posting ..... anticipating the other movements.

Congratulations taking the Alkan to stage! It's truly a brilliant piece of music, though hard to program. Thanks for going after it. I hope you keep it in your repertoire through the years.
