The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Oh, right. I've seen this. I like Hamelin's version better than the original.

Found myself laughing the moment his arrangement kicked off. Hilarious! Yet another novel interpretation by none other than Canada's super virtuoso.

Hamelin is perhaps somebody to look up to, he's a talented artist, writes beutiful music, and can stretch his mind even far enough to appreciate atonal music...Atonal music is very hard to make, say if a toddler goes to a piano and pounds on it for 10 seconds with no intended pattern...The child would have a very unlikely ratio that what he pounded on the piano was atonal...It infact was tonal because in order for it to be atonal it would have to resemble equally spaced  intervals..and alot of them if you want to call it an atonal piece, rather than atonal phrase which occurs in music all the time... which could have been more likely that the kid hit a few atonal patterns...

If you're a student atonal does not just mean not making musical sense, there's math to it, but its simple as I just stated...
There is so much still to be created. 88 keys, you do the math. ∞
