Chopin B Minor Sonata, 1st movement
on: January 02, 2013, 07:37:44 PM
Hello!
It would be wonderful if anyone could give me some advice on this piece - I will be playing it for upcoming auditions this Spring. I know the technique is somewhat rough. General or specific comments both would be really helpful!
The recording is from a recent piano department recital. Thank you!!!

It's a piece I really like and have heard many recordings of. It's a musically solid performance that even with some minor errors, sounds expressive. It is clear to me you understand the piece, and you have an idea what message you have for the audience while playing it.
By the way, no one generally notices if you hit a wrong note every now and then. Give it some more time in order to polish it and you will be just fine for your auditions. Good luck.
