COUNTING in Ravel's Scarbo???
on: January 04, 2013, 06:48:21 PM
I am just so bewildered by the counting in this piece. Here are some examples:
-measure 93, that arppegio thing (do you just not really count that??)
-measure 232, the arpeggio going up (its like 10 against 13 or something crazy like that)
-a similar one in measure 253
-measure 424, 9 sixteenth notes in a 3/8 bar??
-measure 436
yeah, thats all I can find.....for now.
I'm beginning to think a lot of the parts I am asking about isn't exactly counted, you just have to make it to the end of the arpeggio in time with the both the hands (?) I'm just not quite sure if I'm right or not...HELP!!!!!!
