My First Composition
on: January 04, 2013, 09:07:46 PM
Since this is my first one and I am not talented in composing -I'm not talented in anything at all
- do not please take this as a serious musical work. I think it's one of the worst examples of amateur music composing. It's repetitive, the second part seems to have no problems to me, but I think, this composition is like finishing a 30 minutes speech in 2 minutes. It feels like "Bla bla bla, finished bye, ah I have forgotten this, bla bla bla, finished bye."
Important!!: The aim of putting the piece on here, is to find which composer I am the closest, and which artistic movement or understanding I belong to. Answering this question would be really important. But any other comments would be appreciated too, even if you have said Bazingaa!
When I compose, I start it, and when I can't create a nice melody, and I think that I must take a break, I have a fetish of putting a logical finish to the piece, it just annoys me to hear an unfinished piece. That's why the different parts are not connected well. The piece is not yet finished, I have just found an introduction and three different themes and tried to connect them.
It consists of four different "parts" IMO(?!?!) The first part, a simple melody that has only crotchets. Then when it reaches a point that I couldn't write more, the second part starts. It is my favourite part (It still sucks). Maybe it is impossible to play, I don't know. The third part shows a lack of inspiration from the beginning. I have thought it as a variation of the second part (maybe I'm trying to lie because it's repetitive
) And the fourth part, the worst one, is a new composing, um.. thing, for me, It's inspiration was the Tempest Sonata- 3rd Movement's left hand accompany. That was all. As I have said before, don't take this as a serious musical work, all I want is an answer to my question. Thank you.

That's the midi file, the piece becomes clearer to me when I listen to them in Synthesia, it makes me understand it better and most importantly, SEE the music. (Just my lack of talent
)
And I know the ending is
ridiculous

i'll post my first composition too...
note: i wrote it when i was 12, a time when i started to understand basic calculus and had only known music for 1 year, so i had nearly no experience, no musical ancestors(in fact, they were dumb and talentless until my parents escaped poverty) and hardly any knowledge in composition, so don't expect it to be any good.
if you think i'll be the next chopin, tell me
but if you think it sounds like the most horrible auditory hallucination you've ever had
, let me know
