What do you think of those piano sonatas?
on: January 05, 2013, 12:09:11 PM
Hi there! I have recently started listening to obscure piano sonatas from the romantic/late romantic era and I have come across these very nice works:

Bortkiewicz 1st piano sonata
Rubinstein 1st piano sonata
Stenhammar 4th piano sonata
Grieg piano sonata
Novak piano sonata (eroica)
MacDowell piano sonatas

There are many more but those are my favourites... What do you think of them? Do you like them?
What do you think of their structure and their melodies?
