Fanale is not good.
on: January 13, 2013, 05:49:08 AM
I am terrible at using this software. It's a waste of time to sit here and do this.  I'll stick to performing my piano works...and have people put my orchestral works/piano solos on finale if I choose. Otherwise I can read my own writing just fine, and if somebody wants to read my music they can take it and figure it out just like people did with Beethoven's Music.
There is so much still to be created. 88 keys, you do the math. ∞

I am afraid you might end up a very obscure composer if you think like that. The "greats" if the past had their friends/publishers to clean up the works. The original manuscripts only became interesting after they were dead and already famous and the scholars started digging them for more information...

Only true idiots compare say they are great... You just compared yourself to God, and that's too much, even for trolling.

It's called delusions of grandeur.

It's called delusions of grandeur.

Which might actually be useful for pushing through obstacles when aiming high... assuming one has what it takes...which means one is not actually delusional... Did I just shoot myself in the foot?  ;D

I thought that about Finale when I first started using it too, and then once I got to know my way around, I found it pretty handy.  If you haven't given up completely on it yet, I recommend watching a few video tutorials, and then downloading templates that are already pretty much what you want. Then it's pretty easy from there. Cheers and good luck!
