Sadly circumstances didn't allow me to enter the recent piano competion on Piano Street -but in any case here is my rendition of the set piece -hope you enjoy it -

It's so unfair that you are excluded from the competition. AJ, is it really too late, or can we make an exception for him? He deserves it!!!!

Seriously, though, your sweet dreams are the dreams I dream of.  So tender and sweet and soothing.   The best Sweet Dreams I've heard.  It is a real pity you withdrew from the comp.  You should win hands down!!

I just annouced the results! but anyway, I think it would not have been much use since I'm not expecting to receive anymore votes.. and then everyone else would have to vote again etc..  not very practical.

I may add it to the OP as an additional performance though if you would like starstruck - if anyone reads the thread in the future it can only be a benifit to have more perfomances posted as far as it being a source of learning.

Thanks for your compliments!  I know some people said they hated this piece -but I have always loved it since I first played it -this music speaks a language beyond words -I love pieces like that -
