Who can obtain/compose this song for piano?
on: January 22, 2013, 02:02:34 AM
Alright so I've been looking all over the place for this specific part of the Dark Knight soundtrack and all I've been finding is the sad, easy to play songs from the soundtrack. My intention or what I've been told is that the piano can mimic almost any instrument so I'm wondering if someone could find me or write me a sheet for this part in the soundtrack:

Specifically at 2:30 is the part I wanna play but the whole theme would be nice. It would also make my day if the sheet were to have more than two keys per hand in the notes, so basically I'd like to play full out chords and not like 2 finger stuff lol. I'm actually pretty good at playing and love to play orchestral music on the piano especially when they're from good movies such as the Dark Knight. I don't mind paying for any of the music found I just can't find the sheet for that song.

There's a piano version by the composers for sale here:

So I looked up the notes you mentioned and it just doesn't seem to have that same melody? You know what I'm saying? I looked up those notes up on youtube and they end up sounding like this:

although i found this other guy who plays the song very well as if it's an enhanced version of the overture and i can't seem to get a response back from him if he could give me his version unless it's a totally different song...

There's what appears to be a good arrangement of it (for free, even  :D) here:

It's not bad... a couple of the chords are off, but he's put an insane amount of detail into his arrangement. Perhaps too much - but worth looking at considering it's free.

Yes that is exactly what I was looking for but if you know which chords are off, you mind telling me where or notify me somehow because I'd like it as accurate as possible. I mean if there's no other way you could then i'm fine with what was found but if you could somehow maybe print screen it on paint and make note changes or just print screen and tell me in microsoft word, that'd be amazing. Otherwise thanks j_menz and perfect_pitch if you had the time, could you notify me of the changes, that would be much appreciated!
