Grade 10 RCM exam/repetoire?
on: January 31, 2013, 03:49:00 PM
Hey guys,

So I'm 15 years old, started piano 7 and a half years ago. Through the younger grades I was very successful, winning competitions and receiving 90+% on exams. Then, last year in grade 9 piano I lost my focus, barely practiced and got a 77, I then quit thinking I would never play again.
Over the past couple months I have found a renewed drive, I went back to my teacher and she agreed to begin again. My goal is to take my grade 10 practical exam in june 2014, a year and a half from now and score over 85%. Do you think this is possible?? I am willing to work hard but my schedule only allows me to practice about 2 hours a day.
Additionally, I'm wondering what kind of repertoire you suggest, I'm meeting my teacher in a few days but just wanted to get a few ideas to explore.

Thanks so much!  :)
