Hey all
I have been playing piano for around 3-4 years and in all the songs that I've played and all 6 and a half songs I have memorized currently, there are always these little spots that I have some trouble with.
I sometimes manage to clean it up, and then some time later new places that I previously played flawlessly start to trouble me. Why is it that I am just getting trouble in places that weren't hard to begin with?
Also, in the time that I've been playing, I've been trying to clean up certain hard areas of my pieces simply with long repetition and at some points I do it good and at other points the mistakes just come back to haunt me again with difficulty and frustration. Why is it that sometimes I do good on some parts, and then it just reverts to being very difficult again? Is there a different way to get rid of mistakes more PERMANENTLY, instead of being good at it and then later on (could be hours, days, or weeks later on) not doing good again? Because, this slow, long, repetition-type playing kinda sorta usually works for a little, but it is so frustrating when I come back to it and then I suck at it.
