how long does it take to learn Grade 6 theory (ABRSM)?
on: February 05, 2013, 08:08:35 AM
I completed Gr 1-5 theory exams each with a distinction. I've just started learning Grade 6 a couple of months ago. Problem is i'll be starting bachelor's degree in 3 weeks. I plan to find myself a teacher as it's been quite a lot of years since I last laid my eyes and brain on music theory. so far I have no problems catching up cos i did do a quick revision before I started gd 6. i'm well aware of how different gd 6 is compared to previous grades. since i'm enrolled into a research-based university, would it be possible to complete gd 6 in a year?

Yes, one year is  an average time. If not repeat the exam. ;)
