Your thoughts on this Chopin Mazurka?
on: February 08, 2013, 11:45:11 PM
Hello everyone,
A while back my teacher gave me the Chopin Mazurka in g minor Op 67 no. 2 for a little site reading. I noticed a really odd line, I don't know the exact measure number, but it's when the right is the only hand playing for about 8 measures. It sounds a little weird as if it came from a different piece, so I don't really know how to play it. Does anyone have an interpretation? Or have an idea of the reason of why that phrase is in this piece?
Thanks
