I thought the Happy Birthday improvisation was very entertaining and imaginative. I'm especially impressed if it was indeed improvised, as I would have thought the counterpoint, at least, would have required a bit of practice. Also, the Debussy section (or at least what I took to be a Debussy-inspired section), was beautifully proportioned and suggestive-------again, a tribute to superior improvisational ability. Congratulations (felicitations, and whatever other best wishes people confer on the occasion of a birthday, even if it's not your own)

Thank you phillolog,
It was an improvisation but additional work was done in editing as there are some impossible parts there to play alone such as the ending.
