Can anyone help me identify this digital piano?
on: February 18, 2013, 09:12:49 PM
https://www.hammond.de/grossdarstellung-gebrauchtmarkt-ha-3500.html

I know it says 'Hammond ha3500' but I think that may be incorrectly labeled as I have searched the web and can find no other information on it apart from this one side.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I would ask the seller about that.

If you think it's is expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.

It is exactly what it says it is. This unit is not in current production. The best I can say is that it is old school technology. There are plenty of digital keyboards that will run circles around it.

This seems like an odd purchase. What do you plan to do with it?

Someone I know was selling it off very cheap and I am buying a digital piano as I am moving into a new flat next year at uni as I don't really like coming home every weekend as its a lengthy train ride. I was really looking at the casio px850 but then my mate said about that and was a little interested.

Even if it is used, get a modern model. Back when that Hammond was made electronics/inputs/outputs were different.  Compatibility is important.

That looks so much like a circa-1990 Technics that I'm inclined to wonder if Hammond simply 'badge engineered' a Technics model. Perfectly possible. And if it is a Technics it's a reliable old work-horse - not amazingly subtle but does a job. I was playing one just the other day.
