The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Tchaikovsky Waltz of flowers piano solo
on: February 20, 2013, 10:43:33 PM
Hi, I want to play this piece but most of the versions I find are too easy or are for full orchestra.
I want to play a solo, i don't know what my piano level is, i have played Chopin etude op10 no3 (fragment, trisstese), Massenet Aragonaise, Brahms Hungarian dances, this ones are easier but still: Yann tiersen L'absente and  Valse D'amelie.
I don't know much about criticizing music, I have played for 6 years now and I'm trying to write music and improve as much as i can my performance.

You might be able to cope with the transcription by Grainger.

It is on IMSLP.

Thanks for the reply, but I didn't found anything about Grainger and the Waltz of flowers. Would you mind giving me a link?

There's also Tschaikovsky's own solo piano arrangement of it:
