The plague of original compositions
on: February 24, 2013, 10:18:09 AM
Sorry about the controversy but I'd like to state my personal opinion:

On the last times, Audition Room looks to be a magnet for new composers who publish right here their works. That's not necessarily a bad thing... except for the general quality of these compositions is (no offense intended, I'm just describing it) terrible. It's also a significant fact that most of them (would I say all?) are MIDI played, not human played. Every person must extract his/her own conclusions.

These sub par compositions are burying worthy efforts by other members of this forum, getting their recordings into oblivion.

Any opinions? Thanks for reading!

My opinion is that this forum over the last couple of years has been attacked by a range of elaborate trolls. They pretend to be legit so we have to believe them. It is just very unfunny and boring.
