I'm a little surprised they are getting into that arena. Plenty of midi controllers out there but I'm sure Kawai's action is good !
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.

There are plenty of midi controllers out there but very few or none with a piano style action of this caliber.  I think this will make some people very happy.  But I also think it is a niche market compared to the cheaper junk or a standard digital piano.  There is a thought that this thing will cost nearly as much to build and ship as an MP10 but won't demand nearly the same price.

This would make me really happy! If only I had the money...

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
