I reallly enjoyed listening to you both.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the title.  I made a recording of this along with other Offenbach cello "miniatures" about 15 years ago but have never heard them from anyone since.  Not great music, but beautiful, nonetheless.  The other "Les Larmes" is another gem.  Thanks for posting!

It's a cd.  but if I can figure out how you transfer it here I will do so.
What else did she do for the exam?  What else have you done with the cello?  Any brahms...?

I think I actually figured out how to do it.

Well I guess not.  Can anyone tell me how to change the format of a normal cd  so I can upload it?
Like changing it to an mp3?

I think I actually did it!  I'm a wizard.
There is SOOO much for cello and piano.  The Brahms sonatas are beautiful.  Beethoven.  Debussy.  And there are so many miniatures.  Do the saint-saens swan.  If I had to choose over I would probably become a cellist.   :)

Yes your interpretation is really awesome! Congratz to both of you. And Birba's recording is breathtaking as well. By the way "Jacques" takes a "c" just like in "Jacqueline", french is just weird like that sometimes :)
