Liszt - Study #1 S.136 [My interpretation]
on: March 25, 2013, 09:04:35 PM
Hi everyone!! Well, I'd like to show you my recording of the first version of the "Études" from the great Liszt.
It's the verision of the set of Studies "Études en douze exercices". It's a piece that it's not usually interpretated nor uploaded on YouTube (people frequently prefer playing the other two versions, the "Études trascendentales"'s one and the "Douze grandes Études"'s one)
Thank you very much and I hope you'll like it!!

Bravo!
Your technique is looking strong and supple! Great job on this technically demanding and under-represented little study!
Your arch is well-developed and your arms move freely. Your fingers are close to the keys and you play accurately!
I love the sudden softness of your tone at 0:56 and the way you let the pedal ring out with the arpeggios at the end.
Watch the togetherness of your hands/musical direction of the ascending scale at 0:17-0:21. Is this how you intended this passage to sound? I'm not saying it didn't work-I thought you pulled it off, but it probably could have been better.

Thank you very much, awesom_o!! Thanks for watching and for your advices and comments about my performance!
Well, at 0:17-0:21 I'd like having done a more marked dynamics (crescendo and diminuendo) That's one of the things I should correct. Thanks!
