Help with interpretation
on: March 26, 2013, 05:20:58 PM
Hi there

In Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9-2 I found the following "2b" beside
a three note chord in the left hand - se the inserted Picture.
My question is very simple: How do I play this chord?

Thank you

Leif Flemming Pedersen

I think the 2 is just fingering -- use your second finger on the top note. Funny place to put it though.

I agree the 2 is fingering, but just to confirm; you do know that the "b" is a flat accidental (making for Cb)?
