This is just so far, I'll upload a better one once I'm better at it.

Apart from the few missed notes towards the end, you have the piece in your hands, technically speaking. Now you have to make it sound like a "waterfall", as you, called it. Another nickname i wasn't aware of...at any rate, to make it sound like a waterfall, you need direction in the phrasing. It barely sounds like it's going up and down. It's flat-colored. like a metronome. And there are a few places where you can do a slight ritardando or stentato. Like before the reprise.
It's funny how a difficult piece like this can pass as a minor etude when you don't do anything with it, musically.

My teacher said the same thing, I need to work more on my sound, expression, voicing out certain notes, dynamics etc.
I've gotten way better at it though. I'm very close to getting it perfect; I can almost taste it.
I've improved technically speaking, more consistent at the difficult passages and I'm getting to the bottom of each key better, I'm better at legato on the way down by sliding my pinky underneath my hand to the left when descending. And I've started implementing dynamics and expressive retardando/accel. etc.
I'm using pollini's recording as a reference, that is my goal with this song. I've made significant progress so hopefully it won't be too long before the next video.

Yes, apart from the few missed notes you have the piece, technically speaking. I agree with birba. I would tell you that maybe it could be more intelligent to play it a little bit slower and play it with less mistakes. This is a piece where you can notice the missed notes perfectly.
I'm a little skeptical about the dynamics in this Étude. Chopin didn't wrote any of them and called it "Exercice 1" so I support you if you decide not to do dynamics.
In the bass, You have to be careful when you play the octave because some times you don't change the pedal correctly and they sounds a little bit indistinct.
Anyway, congratulations. You're doing a great job with this Étude
I put here a couple of my recordins (the second one has a better audio and less mistakes)
