gee, I thought that this thread would be about Halloween and trick-or-treaters.  I'm not sure if Halloween is tonite or tomorrow nite in this town.  If it's tonite, the kids from the next town come here tonite, so that tomorrow they can get even more candy, because their trick-or-treat nite has always been on Halloween nite and ours the night before, or the opposite.  It's never the same nite, and it should be!  So.....question--are any of you gonna trick-or-treat?  I know that you are "too old", bu so what?  And if you are, what are you gonna be?

Shoot!!  I think trick-or-treat is tonite in this town!  I think I will turn off all the lights and hide!  Which reminds me, we set our clocks back an hour tonite.  So this is going to affect chat-time, since daylight savings is just observed in the U.S.  So what do you guys think the course of action should be?  Because we can't have it earlier, because it would cut into dinner time for alot of us.  So, Bernie, would that mean that it would be at 11:30pm or 1:30am for you?  I can't think right now!

Well first you say Malaysia is in Singapore, and now you say that Canadians have no clue and don't implement daylight savings!  Why I oughta!  >:(

I said that Singapore was in Malaysia, not the other way around.  I have a chat buddy from there, and that is what she told me.  So I figured that a testimonial from someone who lives there is more reliable than geography 101.  Does Canada observe daylight savings time? I didn't realize!  I thought that the US  Congress decided on that.  Please correct me.

I don't know the origin of the daylight savings...besides just helping society adjust to the shifting amount of daylight, but I sure know it affects most of us here in Canada...not sure where else on this planet.

Strangers with Candy is a show that was on Comedy Central for thee seasons - it's hilarious. It stars Amy Sedaris, the sister of the writer David Sedaris.

tashs_tiara is like the dark goddess Hecate, the evil Circe, and the fury Tisiphone rolled into one, :o.

that really is fascinating, but i wouldn't associate myself with any form of dark arts or anything whatsoever, i'm too obsessed with being happy for that!
