Scriabin- Impromptu #2 Op.14
on: April 17, 2013, 10:15:33 PM
Hello everyone,
This is my first Scriabin. Hearing many of you playing Scriabin I decided to try some myself. This impromptu is from his Chopin influenced period. I thought I could better relate to it rather than his later works. Thank you for taking the time to listen

Hello,
Very nice job on this amazing impromptu!
I'm not sure if it is due to your recording equipement but I was kind of missing the 'forte' in the climax (page 3 if I remember correctly, where it changes key signature).

Enjoyed listening to your playing, keep it up!

Grts,

Hi fbt,

I had not heard this piece before, but you play it with confidence.  I liked how you voiced and phrased the melodic lines.  Also you pedaled carefully to avoid smudges.  Very thoughtful playing overall. I enjoyed listening.

Beautiful work and nicely played. I've never played any Scriabin though I read his biography for assignment in school. This piece  sounds within my grasp I may give it a look.
Thanks for sharing that.
