Hey guys, I am going to play this piece for a professor in a trial lesson sometime next week. Can you guys give me some comments on what I should work on and what needs to be fixed? Please don't make obnoxious comments like "There's a mistake" and "you suck (well no one says that to me ever :P)". And can you tell me which video sounds better out of the two.

Thanks!

We're actually quite nice here, so I wouldn't worry too much about. I did try to load the videos, but my internet seems to have just crapped itself, and I can't even get the damn videos to stream. I'll come back later and give it a look.

For me It's not good interpretation. The octaves at the beginning are too hard, I know that they have to be forte but not hard! In the first theme, there is very loud left hand and the right hand is not singing. That were only some examples.
Honestly, it sounds like it is being played by machine. It has no spirit and there are a lot mistakes ;(
Bach-Prelude and Fugue 2
Mozart-Sonata 545
Schubert-Klavierstucke D946 - 1, 2
Chopin-Etude 10/9, 25/12
Liszt-Un Sospiro
Rachmaninoff-Prelude 23/5, 3/2

We're all our most harshest critics aren't we...

What I meant by my comment is that you've obviously put in a lot of hard work. Yes there are things to work on, but is anything ever really perfected the way we want it???

I'm currently playing the Kats-Chernin and the Bach in my signature, and believe me - although there are times where I feel I'm playing it well - I feel there's always better.

You seem like a very talented piano player, so please - if you have more, share with us.
