Hi everyone,
I have one more semester to finish my bachelor studies in Piano performance. My teacher supports the idea of continuing my studies to masters degree. I would like to undertake masters program in Europe, Germany or Holland in particular, but I am open for any suggestion.
I would like to know which conservatory is good and also who are teaching there.

Thank you  ;D

Prokofiev Etude op 2 no 1 & 4

To most of the public a school name would seem to be quite important, but for best results where your playing is concerned the teacher is what counts.

Nancy Weems, University of Houston. Go study with her before she retires. You'd have a hard time finding better. I've studied with teachers who were "prestigious" but turned out to be useless as pedagogs. Nancy knows how to make you bloom and has a reputation for turning out students who win a lot of competitions.

It's not. The teacher is more important than the school.

Perhaps, but being on the right continent must help. I find it difficult to believe the whole of Europe does not have someone approaching her abilities.

Good luck with that.
