hi all -

I'm looking to purchase a used yamaha baby grand gc1. was purchased new in 2002 for $13000 and apparently is in very good condition. color is glossy black.

I may be able able to purchase the piano for $6500 but have no idea if this is a good price. any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

I'm sure that you can appreciate that nobody can assess your possible piano purchase of a specific instrument from an online environment as we are in here. The potential exists for this to be a good deal tough, it totally depends on it's overall condition. You really should have someone competent and who really knows these pianos take a look at it, assuming it's the type of piano you have been looking for ( size, brand, model etc.).

Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.
