I really enjoyed the compositon, it gave me a very melancholic thrill. You are clearly a very talented composer with a wide fantasy and great dextrousness. However, I think you could put more variety into your piece. For four minutes it gets a bit repetitive and dull. You don't necesserily have to add/change/remove any notes but you could definately try different tempos and vary how hard you hit the keys. If you don't want to change anything you could try shorten the piece. Keep in mind though, this is just my opinion and I can tell you are a far better piano player than me so maybe somebody else's opinion is of more value than mine. Keep on going, thanks and goodbye. :)

thanks for taking the time to reply, you comments made sense to me. The piece I posted is one of several I have recorded recently and I am in a situation now where I am deciding what pieces I will make changes to and which are the finished article. I am also trying to improve my playing and learn more compositional techniques so I can grow musically too. My feeling right now both from my own perspective and feedback I have received is that I have need to give some extra variation to some of my works to keep the interest in the music going for the full duration of the compositions. Glad you enjoyed the piece! thanks again

I thought it was beautiful, it's something I would hear and then try to find the sheet music for so I can play it myself.

I do agree with the above poster though, it does seem to be repetitive, and while it doesn't bother me so much, I know it could get boring for others.

thanks sunshine_keys -  I plan to make some alterations to the piece and then have some sheet music available. I'm encouraged to hear that you enjoyed the piece and would like to play the sheet music
