About 7.5 with 4.5 of those in lessons outside the home and the first two taught by my mother.

Prior to September 2012, I couldn't even read sheet music (I'm 31).  I spent a little way plunking away on a borrowed keyboard. I've been playing regularly and taking lessons for a couple of months now.

since a few years ago...  :-\ only 52 years. Of piano practice, I mean. Very few years to be able to play all the works of Bach. And that makes me sad...But may be there are pianos in heaven...  :)

66.  And I still can't play as well as I'd like, or as I want to... on the other hand, I still enjoy it!

I haven't started playing yet, not for the sake of playing anyway. Maybe some day if time doesn't run out first. Been at piano a long time though, FWIW, with some time out but still a long time. People say, "I would like to play the piano" , almost as though that is some sort of final end and then they will be a piano player. It isn't like that ! :o
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.

Atually I need to update it,

I also learned the complete works by Liszt and Chopin.

Just performed them at Carnegie hall last week.

I think Liszt would take longer than a week to get through.

And you're worrying about an hour elsewhere.
